Canela de velho (Miconia albicans), is a shrub species of the Melastomataceae family. It has been used for a variety of chronic pains in the joints, spine and knees for centuries and has been used for rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia. It contains many antioxidant properties and is anti-inflammatory and an analgesic. It works with the lower 3 chakras and helps ground the physical, emotional, and mental bodies.
